If you know me, you know: my love for sweets runs deep. But before Cakes, before the buttercream and the Bento cakes, there was something else—something closer to home. As a little girl, I’d stand on my tippy toes, peeking over the kitchen counter, completely mesmerized. My parents and grandmothers had their own specialties—one was the Bapao master, another had the softest, most fragrant Lempers, and then there was the queen of traditional Indonesian Kue Kue. I wanted to do what they did. I wanted to learn. I wanted to create.

Fast forward to today, and I still have my little handwritten recipe notes, just like they did. And now, it’s time to share that part of my story with you.

KueKue is where tradition meets indulgence. Think nostalgic South-East Asian KueKue and ridiculously interesting flavour combo chunky cookies—because why not, right?

So, welcome to KueKue. I hope you love every bite as much as I loved making it.

With love,
